We are seeking a Program Manager – Unified Communications to oversee the strategic planning, development, and execution of a global Unified Communications portfolio. This position will play a critical role in collaborating with Product Management and cross-functional teams to manage a unified platform for voice, contact center, and embeddable communication solutions. The Program Manager will ensure alignment with business objectives, streamline end-to-end engagements, and track delivery milestones to support organizational goals.
This role requires advanced program management expertise to lead complex programs spanning multiple teams, delivering impactful outcomes, and driving long-term benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and maintain the Unified Communications portfolio strategy, ensuring it aligns with business goals, customer needs, and market trends.
- Oversee portfolio initiatives, including new product development, enhancements, and lifecycle management.
- Drive innovation by staying informed about industry trends and competitive landscapes.
Program Management:
- Build and maintain comprehensive program plans, identifying and managing critical paths, upstream and downstream dependencies, and potential risks.
- Monitor program performance against objectives, ensuring milestones are met and delivery aligns with the strategic plan.
- Manage the portfolio budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with teams across product management, marketing, sales, and customer support to drive successful program execution.
- Facilitate the development and implementation of goals, objectives, and success criteria with key stakeholders.
- Lead planning milestones, ensure participation from required teams, and resolve action items effectively.
Communication and Reporting:
- Communicate program updates, milestones, and progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Manage proposed changes to program scope, approach, or delivery timelines, ensuring proper documentation and communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications in Program/Project Management is a plus.
- Proven experience managing large-scale and complex programs, preferably in Unified Communications or related technology portfolios.
- Expertise in tools such as JIRA, Smartsheet, and other program management platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience identifying risks and implementing corrective actions.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Unified Communications technologies, voice systems, contact centers, and embeddable communication solutions.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and iterative product development.
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, animations, and multimedia content creation.
