Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager – Site Design

Position Overview:
We are seeking experienced Civil Engineers with 5+ years of expertise in land development engineering to join our Annandale or Chantilly office. The successful candidate will lead and contribute to the design and processing of land development applications while ensuring high-quality deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and design full sets of site and subdivision construction plans.
- Perform site layout, utility design, and horizontal/vertical roadway design.
- Develop erosion and sediment control plans.
- Generate hydrologic computations for stormwater management (SWM) facilities.
- Perform pavement design computations and sight distance analyses.
- Conduct site work quantity take-offs.
- Create CAD drawings and details for projects.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams, including engineers and architects.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and client requirements.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Education: B.S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Experience designing, preparing, and processing land development applications.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts and locality requirements.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred:
- EIT certification.
- Experience in land development applications in Northern Virginia jurisdictions.
