Day To Day:
A client in hospitality and food service is hiring a Food Service Manager (FSM) to join their team and work directly under the Food Service Director where they will be learning the Director’s responsibilities, completing inventory, managing the financials, ensure storage rooms are clean/sanitized, meals are going out on time. In this role, the FSM will have oversight to everything that is happening in the facility & take over the responsibility of the Director, should the Director ever be out of office. It’s imperative that this candidate has experience in the food service industry and a successful history of supervising multiple team members and tasks at a time, as this role contains a lot of moving parts, is in a fast-paced environment and has the opportunity for advancement down the road.
Must Haves:
- 2-3 years of consistent Supervisory & Food Service experience
- Current or previously held ServSafe Certification
- High School diploma or GED
- Willingness to work in a county jail & positive/compassionate attitude
