Insight Global is looking for a Lead/Senior CAD Drafter to work for a biodiesel plant in Ames, Iowa or Tulsa, OK. This group is responsible for operating the plants optimally, reliably, predictably, and without incident at the lowest sustainable cost. The main responsibility of this person will be to support capital projects, general CAD drafting, and Process Safety Management (PSM) compliance. Day to Day this person will be coordinating with engineers, project managers, and plant/maintenance staff to create or update CAD drawings completely and accurately.

*This role is a 2 year contract-to-hire position*

Requirements:

5+ years of experience working in industrial AutoCAD drafting

Drafting experience in chemical processing facilities or onshore oil and gas facilities

Ability to create CAD diagrams and drawings such as,

* Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs)

* Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)

* Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).

* Electrical one-line drawings

* Control loop drawings

* General arrangement drawings

* Isometric drawings

* Hook-ups or installation details

Previous experience working independently as a sole CAD Drafter

Compensation:

$40/hr to $55/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
