The Hyatt Place Knoxville/Downtown is seeking a Front Desk Manager to lead our front office team, drive guest services scores, and foster an environment of collaboration and positivity.

Rotating Shift: 12pm-8pm and 3pm-11pm

Your Responsibilities

• Ensuring front office staff perform all brand-required standards and can pass brand audit
• Identifying developmental needs for associates and providing coaching opportunities
• Empowering associates to exhibit excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new hires, ensuring they have a seamless introduction into the department
• Overseeing day-to-day operations of front office team, understanding
• Utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to lead and encourage others
• Improving service quality clearly communicating performance expectations to associates and frequently reviewing guest satisfaction scores
• Reviewing group cover sheets, ensuring staff is prepared to meet customer demands
• Other duties as assigned

What You Need

• Open Availability - Available to work weekends, nights, and holidays
• Preferred Schedule - Tuesday-Thursday, 12pm-8pm and Friday and Saturday, 3pm-11pm, Off Sunday and Monday
• College degree preferred
• Experience in customer focused leadership role
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Computer literacy
• Excellent interpersonal skills required
