Job Title: Operations Supervisor
Location: Mauricetown, NJ, US (Onsite)
Shift: 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Salary Range: USD $55,000 – $95,000/year (Up to 10% annual bonus based on KPI achievement, paid in March)
Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our team and lead a dynamic production environment. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will oversee the efficient operation of processes and equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met. This is a key position offering opportunities for growth and advancement within our company.
Essential Job Functions:
- Supervise and direct the operations workforce to maintain efficiency and meet production goals.
- Plan and coordinate necessary downtime with the maintenance department.
- Oversee production planning, troubleshooting, and reporting for various units.
- Identify and resolve process bottlenecks to improve performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with operators and maintenance teams to drive process improvements.
- Ensure proper operation and ownership of production processes, including:
- Dryer and Screening
- Packaging
- Wet Process
- Mining
- Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift inspections of production equipment.
- Ensure compliance with MSHA regulations, operating permits, and company policies.
- Oversee site training and documentation for employees, visitors, and contractors.
- Manage daily order processing using JDE and support customers with COAs via QAD software.
- Ensure shipped products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, & Skills Required:
Non-Negotiable Requirements:
- Industrial/Manufacturing Experience: A strong background in industrial or manufacturing operations.
- Supervisory Experience: Proven experience leading and managing teams in a production setting.
- Computer Proficiency: Ability to utilize tools such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have):
- Familiarity with JD Edwards or other ERP systems.
- Experience with mineral processing, slurry pumping, and rotating equipment.
Key Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED (minimum).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in production planning, mechanical knowledge, and troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in technical decision-making.
- Willingness to be on-call as needed.
