Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in providing therapeutic interventions for students with physical, developmental, or sensory challenges.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and assist with assessments.
• Work with students to improve their fine motor skills, daily living activities, and overall mobility.
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to support the student’s progress and development.
• Document and report on students' progress, maintaining accurate records of therapy sessions and outcomes.
• Educate school staff and parents on strategies to promote students' independence and success in the classroom.

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) License is required.
• Previous experience working with students or pediatric populations is preferred.
