Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Location: 1518 Main Street, Altavista, VA 24517

Job Duration: 10+ months contract on W2 + possible extension or conversion

Shift: Mon-Fri 3pm to 11:30pm

Pay Rate: $19.26/hr on W2

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct chemical and physical laboratory tests on materials, liquids, and gases

• Perform qualitative analysis to assess the properties of various substances

• Set up and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation for research and process control

• Support research teams in delivering accurate and timely test results

• Ensure safety and compliance in all lab activities

What You Need:

• High School or College-level coursework in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or related field)

• Experience with laboratory testing or hands-on science work is a plus

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Ability to operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment

• A passion for science and a desire to contribute to cutting-edge research and testing
