Culver-Stockton College (C-SC) in Canton, Missouri is seeking qualified applicants for
the position of Assistant Professor of Accounting & Finance . This position is a full-time
appointment beginning in August 2025. This appointment is a traditional, face-to-face
position in a dynamic experientially-based business program with some online teaching
as needed. The college seeks an experienced professional with the ability to teach
Finance, Financial Management, Personal Finance and upper-level Accounting and
Finance courses. Additional responsibilities include academic advising, committee work,
and assisting in student recruitment.
We are seeking a dynamic teacher and collaborative colleague eager to participate in
the life of the college. C-SC faculty are committed to teaching excellence, participate in
faculty governance, serve on college committees, and assist with student recruitment.
A doctoral degree in accounting, business or finance or a closely related field is
preferred and candidates with a Master’s degree will be considered for a renewable
lecturer position. ABD candidates will be considered. Successful teaching experience in
the classroom and online as well as professional business experience is preferred. The
successful candidate must have evidence of an ability to work effectively with students
and colleagues and have a strong commitment to undergraduate liberal arts education
and experiential learning.
