Their primary responsibility will be to develop and initiate standards and methods for examination, inspection, measurement and testing of material used to manufacture products. What your day will look like:
- Develop and submit PPAP documentation for new product launches, ensuring customer requirements are met.
- Lead 8D problem-solving for internal and external customer concerns.
- Contribute to FMEA development and learn core quality principles (Drawings, PFD, FMEA).
- Maintain quality documentation and track Non-Conformance and Scrap data.
- Review customer scorecards, monitor changes, and alert management.
- Maintain calibration list for quality tools and support fast response meetings.
- Coordinate sorting and rework activities internally and at customer facilities.
- Prepare reports by analyzing data and making recommendations for improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement using 5S, Kaizen, and lean methodologies.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to ensure proper product transfer to production.
- Analyze failures, implement corrective actions, and participate in APQP activities.
- Ensure IATF 16949 compliance.
- Use engineering tools like UG Catia for Electric/Electronic Vehicle components.
What we are looking for:
- Associate degree in manufacturing technology is preferred.
- Mandarin speaking preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer, preferably with machining and assembly background.
- Proficiency in using conventional measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, microscopes, and other inspection devices.
- Basic understanding of blueprints and other product specification documents.
- General knowledge of ISO procedures and basic root cause analysis methods
