Job Description

The Retirement Plan Solutions Team is currently seeking to add an experience Retirement Plan Solutions Analyst to our growing team. This position will be hybrid, work from home and from your nearest Cetera office. The Retirement Plan Solutions Analyst plays a key role in maintaining and enhancing the integrity of recordkeeper (RK) data feeds and related processes. This position supports smooth data integration, accurate reporting, and effective communication with advisors, recordkeepers, and internal stakeholders.

What you will do:

  • Maintain and improve recordkeeper (“RK”) data feeds through discrepancy reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and data hygiene.
  • Help serve as a bridge between Cetera and the recordkeepers to resolve or prevent discrepancies, ensuring smooth integration, positive advisor experience, and accurate data flow.
  • Assist with acquisition efforts to ensure accurate data integration.
  • Develop an understanding of agreement structures and processes to manage responsibilities effectively.
  • Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with advisors, RK’s and other vendors, and internal teams, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • Maintain relationships with RK’s by participating in regular meetings and fostering effective communication.
  • Assist with current procedures related to RK-facing tasks.
  • Proactively identify and address potential data issues, performing detailed research as needed to resolve issues or improve processes.
  • Learn and understand RK processes, agreements, and associated paperwork.
  • Adhere to processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all tasks.
  • Document decisions and provide supporting rationale for management.
  • Perform detailed research as required
  • Assist in data reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of reports.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in technology platforms used by the Retirement Plan Solutions (RPS) team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, adapting to new responsibilities and tasks as they arise to support the team and organizational goals.

What you need to have:

  • 3+ years of advanced Excel/database experience (v-lookup, x-lookup, pivot tables, shortcut keys, understanding of macros etc)
  • 3-5 years of financial services experience
  • Experience with employer sponsored retirement plans
  • Experience working with recordkeepers or broker-dealers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or Accounting and/or 3-5 years of financial services experience
  • Series 55, 66, 7


Travel Requirements: Up to 10%

Compensation:

The base annual salary range for this role is $75,000 to $95,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Base annual salary depends on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Base annual salary may also differ significantly due to geography and cost of labor considerations.
