Digital Organizer
In 2025, the time for organizing our communities is more important than it has ever been. Our family of organizations Arizona Coalition for Change 501(c)(3) and Our Voice Our Vote Arizona 501(c)(4) is seeking a dynamic Digital Organizer who will play a central role in expanding grassroots support, engaging volunteers, and driving action around our most pressing issues through digital channels. This role will involve overseeing digital outreach and communications, managing social media platforms, and supporting content creation across various digital mediums. The Digital Organizer will work closely with Campaign Managers to amplify Black-led projects, events, and mobilization efforts while developing and executing strategies for electoral engagement. In addition to leading our Economic, Environmental, and Civic Engagement digital campaigns, the Digital Organizer will be responsible for building and nurturing an online community, managing content distribution (ex: newsletters and social media posts), and collaborating with external communications vendors to ensure alignment with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building relationships and empowering Black and other communities of color, with a strong understanding of local and state organizing.

Role Responsibilities:
Content Creation & Curation
- Content Development & Branding: Curate and develop org-branded creative materials (e.g., graphics, social media posts, program descriptions, press releases, scripts) aligned with the organization's mission and vision.
- Digital Campaign Messaging: Create compelling messaging for member newsletters, email campaigns, fundraising efforts, and digital engagement strategies.
- Content Scheduling & Coordination: Coordinate and manage a content calendar to amplify organizational campaigns, events, updates, and other key initiatives. This includes scheduling and ensuring timely delivery across various platforms.
- Digital Asset Management: Organize, update, and maintain the organization’s digital assets inventory (graphics, templates, tools, etc.), ensuring all content is easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Toolkits & Templates: Develop digital toolkits, templates, and resources to assist campaign managers, organizers, and volunteers in their digital outreach efforts.
Communications Strategy & Digital Tactics
- Campaign & Event Amplification: Collaborate with Campaign Managers and organizers to amplify digital campaigns and events. This includes conception, vision, curation, scheduling, editing, and post-launch follow-up.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside the Communications team in fundraising, PAC efforts, digital strategy, and campaign execution, engaging with partners, vendors, and coalition organizations.
- Content Quality & Maintenance: Ensure the quality and consistency of digital assets and content through regular review, maintenance, and updating. Archive or discard outdated materials when necessary
Social Media & Online Community Building
- Social Media Management: Oversee day-to-day management of the organization’s social media accounts, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to inquiries or comments.
- Community Engagement: Build and nurture online communities, fostering interaction, volunteerism, and grassroots support through digital platforms.
- Platform Strategy: Develop tailored social media strategies to promote events, campaigns, and advocacy work while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Data, Metrics & Analytics
- Performance Tracking: Analyze and measure the performance of online engagement across platforms (social media, website, email, etc.). Use social media insights and other data to optimize engagement strategies.
- Reporting & Data Analysis: Provide regular reports on digital engagement performance (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and adjust tactics based on performance metrics.
- Engagement Optimization: Develop and maintain a tracker of community engagement, analyzing trends and identifying areas for growth and improvement.
Vendor & Partner Collaboration
- External Vendor Management: Work closely with external communications vendors (communication strategists, web designers, etc.) to support content creation and ensure consistency with organizational messaging.
- Partnership Coordination: Coordinate with coalition partners and other stakeholders to amplify shared campaigns and initiatives, ensuring a unified and impactful digital presence
Ideal Skills and Experiences:
- Commitment to Civic Engagement : Strong dedication to empowering historically underrepresented communities, particularly Black and communities of color.
- Experience in Organizing & Digital Strategy : At least 1-2 years in community organizing, with a focus on communications, digital organizing, or marketing.
- Grassroots Mobilization : Passion for building relationships and grassroots power, particularly in Black and marginalized communities.
- Collaborative & Team-Oriented : Ability to work effectively in a diverse, multi-disciplinary, and multi-cultural team environment.
- Strong Communication Skills : Excellent written and oral communication skills for producing compelling content and engaging with diverse audiences.
- Adaptability & Efficiency : Capacity to manage multiple priorities, work in a fast-paced environment, and deliver quality results under tight deadlines.
- Vision & Detail-Oriented : Ability to balance strategic vision with attention to operational details and execution.
- Flexibility & Availability : Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, and travel between Phoenix and Tucson
