Position: Inside Sales Account Manager

Hybrid Remote/Onsite: Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Pay Rate: $65,000 Salary plus Uncapped Commission

Must Haves:

  • 3+ years of experience direct selling in a customer-facing role that includes identifying and addressing customer needs
  • Previous B2B Sales experience (experience selling services vs. selling a product is preferred)
  • Ability to build new client relationships while maintaining existing ones
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel (additional experience with a CRM system is preferred)
  • Strong business acumen


Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Inside Sales Account Manager to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying leads, proactively prospecting, and selling new and profitable business within your assigned geographic area.


  • Identify viable leads, manage prospects, and acquire new, profitable commercial, industrial, and recycling business to exceed monthly revenue goals.
  • Follow up on leads received from Lead Generators within 2 hours and create follow-up tasks in Salesforce.
  • Utilize Salesforce daily to schedule and document activities, and develop robust profiles on prospective customers.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations to prospective clients; follow up with key decision-makers to close sales.
  • Conduct phone blocks and cold call prospecting activities to establish initial and follow-up appointments with decision-makers.
  • Stay aware of market behavior and competitive trends to anticipate changing customer needs.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of the company's services, lines of business, and pricing structures; offer additional services to existing and potential clients to grow profitable revenue.
  • Meet regularly with the Sales Manager to review customer retention and relationship activities, progress versus goals, and status of key customer relationships.
  • Build relationships and increase company visibility through participation in company-sponsored activities, trade shows, chamber of commerce events, and community events.
