Setting: Outpatient Clinic in Bethesda, MD

Summary:

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW/LCSW/LCSW-C) to join our growing team in Bethesda, Maryland! In this role, you will report directly to the Clinical Director.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial client assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans based on understanding of the client’s developmental level, behavior capacities, and mental health.
• Provide support to the client’s family and assist with their understanding of the client’s diagnosis, developmental capabilities, and therapy goals.
• Mentor and support a team of therapists, including Developmental Paraprofessionals, in their clinical developmental interventions with clients.
• Develop interventions that aim to build and strengthen a meaningful and emotional relationship with the client, harnessing their individual interests and gearing to their specific needs.
• Monitor reach child’s progress on an ongoing basis and record session notes in the child’s Electronic Health Record, communicating progress and updates with other therapists as appropriate.
• Participate in company meetings and training as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience working with children and adolescents diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental disabilities.
• Ability to document clinical notes at a professional level using an Electronic Health Record.
• Passion for relationship-building with clients, families, and other clinical therapists to best support a meaningful multi-disciplinary approach.
• Required licensure and educational background to actively practice, as well as the ability to pass a background check.
• Willingness and desire to work in an outpatient center setting.

Education & Certifications:

• Master's Degree in Social Work
• Must have independent, clinical licensure
• Active Licensure in Maryland – Required
• Credentialing with Major Insurance Providers will be provided by our team!
