Pride Health is hiring a Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT/MLS) for a permanent position at a healthcare facility in Medford, OR . This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-quality lab environment with a focus on integrity, ethics, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of manual and automated clinical laboratory procedures.
- Conduct routine and specialty tests in blood bank, immunology, microbiology, hematology, microscopy, and chemistry.
- Receive and process specimens, including blood, urine, and bodily fluids.
- Ensure quality assurance, equipment maintenance, and compliance with lab protocols.
- Collaborate with phlebotomists, clerical staff, and the Technical Supervisor as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in MT, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field.
- Experience :
- Minimum 2 years of hospital laboratory experience.
- Blood Bank experience required.
- Certification : Current MT/MLS (ASCP) certification.
- Preferred Skills : Proficiency in EPIC, Ortho Vision, and WellSky software.
Additional Information:
- Location: Medford, OR 97504
- Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (8-hour shifts, 5 days/week, every third weekend rotation)
- Duration: Direct Hire
- Pay Rate: $36.79 - $50.59/hour (based on qualifications)
