Compensation Range
The base pay scale for this position is $31.43 - $34.96. In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.

Physician Contact Center Representative l
Full Time/Hybrid
8:00am - 4:00pm
A highly visible customer service position that is responsible for the reception of patients, families, and health care providers. The Physician Contact Center Representative is an expert in the areas of customer service, registration/scheduling, insurance, and HSS Standards of Care. Consistently meets productivity standards and scores in the top 5% of measurable categories within 6 months of hire.
Key Responsibilities
•Provide exceptional customer service to all patients, visitors, and customers
•Respond to patient, visitor, and customer inquiries
•Obtain patient demographics, personal information, and medical history by interviewing patients
•Maintain knowledge of all HSS physicians in each service line and offsite location
•Obtain patient demographics, personal information, and medical history
•Document and close all cases via Salesforce
•Maintain knowledge of insurances and revenue cycle
Skills and Qualifications
•Superior written and oral communication skills
•Exceptional customer service skills
•Ability to multi-task
•Knowledge of healthcare and health insurance preferred
•Familiarity with medical terminology, preferred
•Knowledge of patient registration and experience scheduling appointments
Education Requirements
•High School Diploma
•Some College Course work.
Experience
Two years in a healthcare or 2 years customer service experience
