San Vicente Club Overview:

San Vicente Clubs is a prestigious private members-only club originating in West Hollywood, California. Since its 2019 opening, San Vicente Bungalows has established itself as a premier destination for individuals seeking a refined and intimate social experience.  Our exclusive establishment offers an oasis of tranquility, luxury, and personalized service to our esteemed members.  Building on the success of the original West Hollywood location San Vicente is expanding to Santa Monica (opening November 2024) and New York City (opening January 2025).

San Vicente West Village Overview:

SV WV is located in the historic Jane Hotel which faces the iconic Pier 51, SV WV imbues West Village charm and New York’s most desired elements. Opening is scheduled for early 2025.

Like SVB West Hollywood, membership at SV WV will be highly selective. With a rooftop cafe, 1st floor restaurant and bar, private meeting spaces, hotel rooms, living room like décor, and multi-floor layout, members will enjoy an enhanced ‘home-away from-home’ experience. The New York Community of members will bring together entertainment, media, fashion, design, art, architecture, music, and technology thought leaders. Membership will be generationally and ethnically diverse as New York City itself.

Summary

The Guest Relations Agent is responsible for providing a welcoming arrival process along with ensuring the safety of all members, guest and employees in the club. This role requires a blend of customer service, security knowledge, and emergency response, with a focus on maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff.

Responsibilities

Guest Service & Interaction

  • Welcoming members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Baggage handling and transport services for guests during check-in and checkout.
  • Lobby ambassador role: Maintain door presence and ensure positive arrival experience.
  • Address or elevate member and guest complaints and requests promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Promote positive guest relations and maintain courteous behavior.

Safety & Security

  • Monitor surveillance cameras and investigate alarms.
  • Patrol property to ensure safety and security.
  • Document safety hazards, incidents, and suspicious activities.
  • Coordinate with emergency services (e.g., police, fire departments) during emergencies.
  • Respond to accidents or emergencies by providing first aid/CPR, and coordinating with medical personnel.
  • Handle intoxicated guests according to club policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all incidents, reports, and documents.

Operational Support

  • Familiarity with club operations: Activities, facilities, hours, layout, and emergency plans.
  • Maintain departmental equipment and ensure work areas are clean.
  • Document actions and incidents in daily logs and complete paperwork.
  • Follow departmental procedures for theft, lost items, noise complaints, and other investigations.
  • Monitor and authorize access into the club, ensuring security standards are followed.

General Administration

  • Review daily log records and stay informed about relevant information for shifts.
  • Coordinate emergency situations as needed according to the department's manual.
  • Handle lost or missing items according to protocol.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • 2 or more years of experience as a security officer / agent in a luxury environment
  • Previous experience in handling high profile guests
  • High attention to detail and skilled problem solver
  • Previous experience in large amount of contact with guests, local law enforcement and other club / hotel associates and excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills is a must
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States

Previous Forbes 5 star training strongly desired

Physical Requirements

  • Able to traverse spaces throughout the building as necessary
  • Able to work standing for a minimum of 8 hours a day
  • Periodical bending, kneeling, and stretching
  • Able to pull, push, carry and lift at least 50 pounds
  • Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands
