Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel AGENCY MUST SUPPLY RADIATION BADGE About this Position Position/Specialty: Neuro IR Tech / Neuro Daily Caseload per tech: 4-5 Shift: Will work 5x8 hour shifts, 7am-3:30pm Weekend REQ: N/A Is on-call REQ? Every 5th weekend and one night per week. Radius should be within 30 minutes during on call. Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No Floating Req to Sister Facilities: No Required/Preferred Years of experience REQ: 2 years First-timers accepted: Yes Certifications REQ BLS, ARRT (R), Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) or CCI (RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist)) Experience REQ: Interventional Radiology and Neuro experience Radiation Badge REQ: Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers Misc. Radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate RTO Restrictions: All RTO must be included at time of submission.
