MNA Delivers leadership, support and guidance to healthcare facilities of all sizes across multiple specialists with the primary goal of providing accessibility, value and quality medical administrative support services.
What You’ll Do:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to build your own patient panel all while enjoying the scenic communities of Alaska.
Responds to patients medical problems by referring to their history, carrying out diagnosis, treatment, counseling and referral, if applicable.
Ordering lab tests and interpreting the test results
Maintaining confidentiality and impartiality at all times
Collecting, recording, and maintaining sensitive information such as examination results, medical history and reports
Perform minor surgeries
Explain procedures or prescribed treatments to patients
Meeting targets set by the government for specified treatments e.g. child immunizations
Discussing and evaluating pharmaceutical products with pharmaceutical representatives
Keeping up-to-date with medical developments, treatment and medication
What You Need For This Job:
Degree in Medicine
5-year residency
Current state medical license and Federal DEA License
Must reside in or near Wasilla, Alaska.
Have general knowledge of EMR software and Outlook Programs
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to frequently stand; walk; sit; stoop; kneel; crouch; crawl.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
