RWC is a continuing care retirement community. We provide care and services for senior citizens living independently and to those who need assistance with daily living activities or full nursing care.

Highlight of Responsibilities:

Oversee management of resident care on the unit. Assures that all duties assigned are followed through and thoroughly completed. Monitors and directs nursing staff in following proper policy/procedures and protocols.
Provide assistance in the management of resident care on the unit as needed
Assist the Director of Nursing to assure confidentiality and efficient handling of records and data
Responds to emergencies according to policy
Attend and/or conduct care conferences and education sessions for staff as necessary
Coordinates admissions, transfers, and/or discharges, and ensures appropriate documentation.

Skills:

Current License to practice as a Registered Nurse with the Virginia State Board of Nursing
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Previous experience as a Team Leader
Leadership and communication skills
