We are looking for RN Case Managers to join our exemplary interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care to all we serve; while practicing fiscal responsibility in these fluid economic times. Unrestricted, active RN license in the state of New Jersey
BS in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
Ability to work alternate Saturdays.
2 years nursing in an acute care / hospital setting.
2 years Case Management / Utilization Review in a hospital, post-acute or insurance/third party payer setting.
Familiarity and computer literacy with EMRs & CM/UR software.
Working knowledge and experience with MCG/Indicia, Interqual, or other nationally recognized CM/UR criteria.
Working knowledge of CMS guidelines and regulations governing discharge planning and utilization management.
Experience in care coordination, hospital throughput, LOS/Readmission reduction, discharge planning, & transitions of care a must.
Experience in working with Appeals/Denials highly preferred.
Case Management Certification preferred.
Experience in Worker’s Comp a plus.
