Job Description:

Hours: Full-time, 30-40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with flexibility in scheduling

As a School Psychologist, you will play a vital role in supporting the mental health and academic success of students in Dighton by providing assessment, intervention, and consultation services.

Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' strengths and needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and support plans.
Provide individual and group counseling to students experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges.
Monitor and evaluate student progress, making adjustments to interventions as necessary.
Develop and deliver training programs for staff on mental health issues and effective strategies for supporting students.
Maintain accurate and confidential records related to assessments, interventions, and student progress.
Stay current with best practices and regulations in school psychology to provide high-quality services.

Requirements:

Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
Current Massachusetts state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
Experience working with children and adolescents in educational settings is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and staff.
