About the Position: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join our team in Reading, Massachusetts. This full-time role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of elementary students across five schools in the district. Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students cognitive, emotional, and social development.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school administrators to design and implement individualized intervention plans.
Provide counseling and support services to students experiencing academic, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
Develop and lead workshops or training sessions for teachers and parents to address student needs.
Participate in multidisciplinary teams to review and monitor students progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
Support crisis intervention efforts and provide consultation during emergency situations.
Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with district policies and state regulations.
Promote a positive and inclusive school environment that supports student growth and well-being.
Qualifications:
Current licensure in School Psychology, Counseling, or Social Work in the state of Massachusetts.
Masters degree or higher in School Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
Proven experience working with elementary school-aged children, preferably in a school setting.
Strong knowledge of evidence-based intervention strategies and psychological assessment tools.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
