*Job Title:* Radiologic Technologist/CT Technologist
*Location:* Bangor, ME & Lincoln, ME
*Contract Duration:* 13 Weeks (Possible Extension)
*Shift:* 3 x 12 Varied Shifts

*Position Summary:*
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist/CT Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Facility. This role involves utilizing advanced imaging equipment to perform high-quality diagnostic x-rays and CT scans, ensuring accurate results for radiologist interpretation.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Operate radiographic and CT equipment, including portable and surgical imaging systems.
* Produce high-quality cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues.
* Utilize Vitrea 3D post-processing workstation and operate power injectors.
* Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing ALARA principles and radiation protection techniques.
* Document patient care services in patient and hospital records using the EMR system (EPIC).
* Demonstrate a compassionate approach to patient interaction, ensuring dignity and sensitivity.
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide exceptional diagnostic imaging services.

*Requirements:*
* *Education:* Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
* *Licenses/Certifications:*
* ARRT Certified Radiography (RT)
* State of Maine Radiography License
* ARRT CT Certification (Preferred)
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in diagnostic imaging.
* Familiarity with PACS systems and understanding of their functions.

*Additional Information:*
* Must reside outside the state of Maine.
* Orientation (up to 16 hours) is *paid*.
* Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
* Holiday coverage is required.

*Rate Details:*
* *Guaranteed Hours:* 36 per week
* Overtime starts after 40 hours per week.
