*Job Summary*

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting pharmacists in various pharmacy settings, ensuring the safe and effective provision of medications to patients.

*Duties*
* Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
* Maintain pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing and expediting orders, verifying receipt, and removing outdated drugs
* Assist in the preparation of sterile products using aseptic technique
* Provide excellent patient care by interacting with patients to obtain information, answer inquiries, and resolve issues
* Support critical care areas such as hospitals with medication delivery and management
* Utilize medical terminology accurately to communicate with healthcare professionals
* Assist in acute care settings, including IV infusion preparation and monitoring
* Ensure patient service excellence by processing prescriptions accurately and efficiently

*Requirements*
* Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
* Proficiency in pharmacy operations and procedures
* Knowledge of aseptic technique for sterile product preparation
* Familiarity with medical terminology for effective communication
* Experience in a hospital or acute care setting is advantageous
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
