Registered Nurse ICU - Trauma Step Down

Neptune City, NJ

Nights 12x3, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

13 weeks Contract

$2600 per week (Negotiable)

*Job Description*
* Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient’s needs.
* Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
* Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
* Initiates assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs, the physician’s medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
* Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.

*Requirements*
* Minimum of 2 years prior RN experience working in a MS/Tele unit in a major acute care hospital setting required.
* Must have a strong MS/Tele background.
* Floatable to like med/surg tele units.
* Ventilator, post-cardiac surgery experience, post-surgical experience - Preferred

*Required Licenses & Certifications*
* NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.
* ACLS - AHA
* NIHSS
* BLS-AHA
* CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours
* Telemetry certification or competency exam

*Education*
* Required Education: ASN required
* Preferred Education: BSN preferred.
