Overview

Provide safe, efficient and friendly service to all passengers utilizing the hospital employee shuttle system. Drive and operate a 15-passenger shuttle to transport hospital employees along designated route on the hospital campus.

Shift

Monday - Sunday

2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Responsibilities

Provide courteous service to all passengers utilizing friendly greetings, smiles and professional interaction.
Report for scheduled shift on time and in uniform.
Ensure vehicle interior is clean and free of debris at all times.
Maintain and log accurate passenger counts each hour and report data as needed.
Complete daily vehicle logs each shift accurately.
Report any maintenance issues to supervisor immediately and document on daily log.
Work with supervisor to fuel vehicles without compromising service levels.
Transport passengers to and from campus to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
Obey all traffic laws at all times.
Maintain a clean driving record notifying supervisor of any moving violations.
Provide expediting and dispatching support for shuttles, as directed by supervisor.
Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
21 years of age or older
Valid Driver's License, responsible driving record
Previous driving experience
High School diploma or equivalent
High standard of integrity
Experience delivering quality service in customer/public environment
Displays a positive attitude, flexibility, initiative and ability to communicate effectively
Able to read, write, comprehend, and converse in the English language
Able to sit for extended periods of time.
Ability to enter and exit a shuttle vehicle while navigating stairs in a safe manner.
