Position Summary

As a Bartender at Snorkelbox , located within The Old Post Office in the From Here On Food Hall , you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding guest experience. You will uphold service standards, contribute to a warm and inviting atmosphere, and execute daily operations efficiently and creatively.

Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Service:
  • Maintain a welcoming environment for all guests.
  • Follow consistent steps of service to ensure every guest receives the same high-quality experience.
  • Keep bar and guest areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Efficiently manage service tasks, including:
    • Greeting and assisting guests with drink selections.
    • Serving beverages and clearing bar tops and tables.
    • Washing, polishing, and restocking glassware.
    • Monitoring stock levels, communicating shortages, and restocking as needed.
    • Performing weekly prep for batches, syrups, juices, and other bar essentials.
    • Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the liquor room and prep tools.
    • Assisting with dish machine maintenance, including chemical levels, unclogging blades, cleaning the drain grate, and deliming.
    • Completing opening and closing checklists.
• Hospitality:
  • Deliver genuine, memorable experiences that exceed guest expectations.
  • Foster a warm, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere.
• Creativity:
  • Collaborate on developing new cocktails and menu items in alignment with the bar's core menu and concept principles.

About You

• Prior bartending experience is preferred but not required – enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are key!
• A passion for cocktails and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Comfortable standing and moving for extended periods, including lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds as needed.
