NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Great Falls, Montana.

3x12 schedule: $48 pay rate 4x12 schedule: $51 pay rate EMR: EPIC experience preferred. Oncology RN Minimum years of experience: 2+ years' experience Past Travel Experience: 1 COMPLETED ASSIGNMENT CERTS: BLS, ACLS, MUST HAVE Oncology certification as well This nurse would be in our patient flow department so would float each shift to the unit of the greatest need. Clinical float pool, helping to staff ER when holding patients. Floating reuirements: all MedSurg must float! For Medsurg level nurses they could float to the following units: ICU,PCU,ED- they would only take care of medsurg overflow patients in these areas. In ED the inpt nurses only float if there are patients who are admitted to med surg and waiting for a bed. Within medsurg pod- Medical, Oncology, Ortho/neuro, surgical, and rehab. Rehab is on the west campus. When any medsurg nurses go to rehab we have to just document in Meditech as rehab has another system that we do not have access to. The charge nurse can help them as well. We don’t float to rehab to often, but it occasionally happens. The west campus is just a couple miles from the east campus. Average ratio on days shift is 1:5. On nights can be 6-7 to 1, but rarely. Ideal candidate: experience in ER environment; taking care of inpatients, PCVU experience also useful due to floating, adaptable, flexible, willing to go wherever is needed Additional Notes: Must be organized, professional, and respectful Good at Critical Thinking Skills Customer Service Oriented
