A growing manufacturing company in Warsaw, IN is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join their team and help build out an internal HR function . This role will take ownership of core HR processes , including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance , while supporting leadership and employees to create a positive, people-first workplace culture .
We’re looking for someone with prior HR experience who is ready to contribute strategically while also handling day-to-day HR operations .
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment , including job postings, interviews, onboarding , and offboarding
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, supporting employee relations and fostering positive workplace relationships
- Administer benefits enrollment , payroll support , and workers’ compensation processes
- Maintain and update employee records to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to align with best practices
- Support training and development programs to ensure employees have the tools they need to succeed
- Lead HR projects focused on process improvement and employee engagement initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of HR experience , preferably in a generalist or specialist capacity
- Strong understanding of recruitment , employee relations , benefits administration , and HR compliance
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information
- Proficiency with HRIS systems , payroll platforms , and Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and build HR processes within a growing company
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to support employees and leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources , Business Administration , or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus
- Knowledge of state and federal employment laws
