Level II Trauma Center with 24/7 Emergency Services An accredited Chest Pain Center and a variety of Cardiovascular Services Stroke Center with Joint Commission Primary Stroke Center Certification Unit: Telemetry Number of Beds: 36 Patient Ratios: 1:3 AM, 1:4 PM or 1:4AM, 1:5PM (with patient care techs) Type of equipment: BiPAP, Heated High-Flow Nasal Cannulas, Alaris IV pumps, Kangaroo Feeding Pumps Documentation system: Meditech Job Requirements REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS, ACLS Advanced assessment and critical thinking skills Management of vasoactive drips Schedule Information FT Staff: 36 hours/week with every 3rd weekend rotation PT staff: 48 hours/week with every 3rd weekend rotation PRN 1 Staff: 3 shifts in a 4-week period with 1 weekend shift requirement PRN 2 Staff: 6 shifts in a 4-week period with 3 weekend shift requirements Rotating holiday schedule Floating policy: PRN floats 1 time per week, FT/PT staff floats in a rotation based upon dates Unit Specific Information Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 36 Patient Ratios: 1:3 AM, 1:4 PM or 1:4AM, 1:5PM (with patient care techs) Unit staffing description: Typically, total RN based care with no techs.
