Registered Nurse - Acute Care/NICU Manager
Location: Los Angeles, CA
SnapCare seeks a dedicated and skilled NICU Manager RN specializing in acute care to join our healthcare team. As an NICU RN Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our patients in a post-acute care setting.
Qualifications:
- CA RN License
- 5 years of experience in the NICU and 3 in Management
- BLS, NRP certification.
Responsibilities:
? Clinical Experience: At least five years of relevant clinical nursing experience, with a minimum of three years in a management or leadership role.
? Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited school. For NICU positions, a BSN and National Health/Nursing Administration Certification or MSN are required.
? Licenses and Certifications:
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
? Leadership Skills: Proven clinical leadership, demonstrated through roles such as Charge/Senior RN, participation in professional committees, or completion of an RN Leadership Development Program.
? Knowledge of Regulations: Comprehensive understanding of the Nurse Practice Act, The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, and other local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.
? Policy Development: Ability to develop, implement, and monitor departmental policies and procedures to meet organizational goals and business objectives.
? Budget Management: Experience in managing budgets, including human and material resource allocation, and developing strategies to reduce costs while improving quality of care.
? Quality Improvement: Expertise in designing and implementing systems and processes to evaluate and enhance patient care quality.
? Human Resource Management: Skills in resolving HR issues, promoting staff development, and maintaining staff competency through effective screening, hiring, and training processes.
? Safety and Risk Management: Commitment to promoting a culture of safety and ensuring compliance with safety standards and guidelines across patient, employee, and departmental levels?
