Position Summary: Assist physicians and allied healthcare staff in performing a variety of diagnostic and interventional cardiac/endovascular procedures. Utilizes knowledge of pathophysiology to ensure patients are prepared/educated/supported during procedures. A strong critical care experience to recognize/handle emergency situations. On Call availability is required.
Experience:
Required: 1-3 years Critical Care experience and or Cath Lab experience. BLS and ACLS. EKG interpretation.
Preferred: Previous Cath Lab experience.
Education: Diploma/Associates degree required. BSN is preferred.
License and Credentials: NJ RN license required. CCRN or RCIS is preferred.
Skills:
Required: IV certification, excellent communication/interpersonal skills, flexibility, diplomacy, tact, foresight. Performs well in high stress, fast paced environment.
Preferred: Sterile technique, preparing for sterile procedures.
Bi-Weekly Hours: 80 hours
Work Schedule: M - F 7 am - 5:30 pm
