As a Per Diem Radiology Aide at NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital, I am responsible for ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients and their families by providing excellent customer service and support during their care. Radiology Aide  - Radiology - Per Diem- Hudson Valley Hospital

Maintain a culture of compassion, caring, warmth and support while escorting patients to areas throughout the hospital conducting yourself in a courteous manner and responding to patients’ needs and inquiries politely and promptly. Spend quality time and build solid relationships with patients and their families. Go above and beyond for patients to deliver superior customer service and ensure their comfort and safety at all times.

This is a Per Diem position at NYP Hudson Valley Hospital located at 1980 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, upper Westchester, NY. This position will be working with both the MRI and CT Departments. Additional MRI Safety training will be provided.

Preferred Criteria

  • Interpersonal skills necessary in order to communicate effectively with patients, patient’s families, physicians, and other health care providers when assisting in MRI.

  • Organizational skills necessary to implement several tasks simultaneously and to coordinate work within the department.

  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail for up to 100% of work time when performing computer data entry.

  • Must be emotionally mature and able to function under stress.

Required Criteria

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
