Registered Nurses (RNs) in the Progressive Care Unit provide direct patient care and leadership within the nursing team. They utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborating with healthcare team members to promote evidence-based practices. Candidates are required to have a current RN license, with two years of experience preferred, and possess effective communication and basic computer skills.

Day and Night Shift (7a-7p OR 7p-7a)

Progressive Care Unit

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care for assigned patients on the nursing unit and providing leadership within the nursing team.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served, through the model of Shared Governance.
• Collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidence based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families

Job Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. ADN required. BSN Preferred.
• Licensure: Current Arkansas or Compact State RN License in good standing.
• Minimum of two (2) years experience preferred.
• BLS required. ACLS within the first year of employment.
• Other: Ability to read, write and communicate effectively. Basic computer knowledge required.
• Preferred Education: PNCC
