  • Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 chg, 5 rn, 2 pca, 1 unit sec, 0-2 sitter; Night Shift – 1 chg, 4 rn, 1-2 pca, 0-2 sitter
  • Patient Ratios – maximum 6:1
  • Type of equipment – standard
  • EMR – meditech
  • Typical hiring profile: Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: Acute med/surg/tele experience 2+ years within the last year; Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time
  • Preferred or nice to have: 2+ years neurosurgery/ortho nursing experience
  • List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Care of med/surg/tele ortho and neurosurgery patients; Standard nursing skills: IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance; medication administration; communication with all members of care team; documentation in EHR

    Job Requirements
  • Acute med/surg/tele experience 2+ years within the last year
  • Ability to care for 4-6 patients at a time
  • 2+ years neurosurgery/ortho nursing experience (preferred)
