  • Top diagnosis/procedures: CHF, Chest pain, cellulitis, post-op, Diabetes, Sepsis, step down from ICU, fractures, abd pain
  • Common equipment used: telemetry
  • Common medications given: Insulin, heparin, all basic medsurg meds
  • MEditech Charting
  • Scrub Color: Navy blue
  • Required Skills: IV insertion, Blood draws, PICC/Central Line management, CPAP/BiPAP, Trach Care, Periotoneal dialysis, Traction, Feeding tubes, Continuous bladder irrigation, Wound vac
    Job Requirements
  • 2 years of acute care RN experience
  • Education (Required): Diploma or Associate
  • Certification (Required): Registered Nurse
  • Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH

  • Does RN need to know how to read tele strips? yes
  • Does RN need to be able to titrate medication? Heparin only

  • Current BLS card from an acceptable agency
  • Nursys Report (Prefer Compact Nursing License)
  • Current state or compact license and Primary Source Verification completed prior to start
  • Completed prior to start, passing score of 80% or higher
  • Covid vaccine required, provide vaccination card with submission
  • Documentation of 2 MMRs at least 28 days apart and/or positive laboratory titer
  • Completed onsite. Completed annually.
  • Documentation of Hep B vaccinations (series of 3) and/or positive laboratory titer or signed declination
  • Influenza vaccine status required
  • 2 Negative TB skin tests. 1 within 90 days and 1 within 365 days of start
  • Documentation of 2 doses of varicella 4 weeks apart and/or positive laboratory titer
  • Proof of having received vaccine. The TD vaccine does not meet this requirement.
  • Physical Capacity. Written statement by a person lawfully authorized to perform the examination that Resource is physically capable of performing Health the essential functions of the job.
  • Include full work experience with references from previous managers
  • Passing score of 80% or higher, updated every 3 years
  • Completed prior to start, updated annually.
  • Standard 10 panel drug screen, completed within 12 months before start and updated annually
  • Completed prior to start, covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
  • County Reside and Employed Search, National Criminal, FACIS level 3, OFAC, OIG Search, SAM, Social Security Trace, NSOP. Education verification required as part of background check.
  • Completed within 24 hours of offer acceptance
  • E-Verify and supporting documentation completed prior to start
  • I-9 with supporting documentation completed prior to start
  • Must be Norton's job description - available within document library.
  • Workplace Safety Module, completed prior to start and updated annually
  • Completed 90 days prior to start, updated annually
  • Facility Form must be completed, NOT employment verification/resume.
  • Registry check for settings specified. Updated every 3 years.
