    Job Details
  • This is an 8-week MRI tech position.
  • Performs Diagnostic Radiographic, Cat Scan, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultra Sound or Special Procedures according to department protocols.
  • Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
  • Participates in PI/ QC activities.
  • Assists in Maintaining Performance Improvement Program.
  • Supervises Radiology staff in the absence.
  • Maintains department supplies.
  • Promotes teamwork and good customer service.
  • Assists in annual evaluations and staff discipline.
  • Does scheduling for assigned sub departments and maintains supplies and equipment for assigned sub department.
  • Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
    Job Requirements
  • Licensure and/or fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
  • Effective July 1, 2017 national certification in three modalities or if functioning in a leadership role, national certification in 2 modalities and leadership experience required.
  • Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
  • One year of acute clinical radiography preferred.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT or ABHES.
  • Proficient computer skills.
    Additional Details
  • American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS required for onboarding.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine required for onboarding.
  • Proof of 2 Vaccines or Positive Titer showing immunity required for onboarding.
  • Annual Respirator fit test required for onboarding.
  • Hepatitis B required for onboarding.
  • Flu Vaccine or declination required October 1-May 31 for onboarding.
  • TB Test required for onboarding.
  • Driver's License/State ID required for onboarding.
  • Vaccination/titer showing immunity required for onboarding.
  • Tdap required for onboarding.
  • Physical/Health Statement must be completed within 60 days of start for onboarding.
  • National Criminal Background Check within one year of start date required for onboarding.
