  • This is a Polysomnographic Technologist II need.
  • The Polysomnographic Technologist works under the general supervision of the Administrative Director, and Medical Director, or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders.
  • This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education.
  • The Polysomnographic Technologist can perform the duties defined for a Polysomnographic Technician and may provide supervision of other staff.
  • Demonstrated effective written and spoken communication skills.
  • Demonstrated appropriate social skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and apply policy.
    Job Requirements
  • 5+ years current experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need
  • Profile Requirements: Cover page (if available/not required), Work History, Skills Checklist (current to 1 year), 1 Supervisory Signed Reference from within the past two years of employment, License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile.

    Additional Details
  • This is a small community hospital (it is not a pediatric intensive care unit).
  • The census is 3.
  • There is not a second nurse scheduled for the unit.
  • The maximum number of patients is 3.
  • There is backup from Family Birthplace staff, and travelers have a security badge with a panic button to get immediate help.
  • There are also respiratory and IV therapists that can cover the unit.
