  • Job Summary: Imaging Services Elmore Hospital - MRI
  • Department: Radiology | MRI
  • Common types of imaging/studies performed: Routine outpatient, ED, Code Stroke, MSK, Neuro, Body
  • Average # of scans/studies per day: Average of 12 in a 24 hour period
  • Department Specific Equipment: Seimens Espree
  • Radiologist in-house: Tele Radiologist coverage available by phone
  • Nursing staff available if needed for IVs
    Job Requirements
  • Must have 2 years of experience
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Prefer venipuncture experience
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
    Schedule Information
  • MRI Dept Open M-F 0800-2000
  • 12 Hr shifts, Days
  • May rotate between 3-12s M, Tu, W plus a 4 hr shift on Th OR 2-12s Th, Fri
  • Weekend Requirements: None
  • Holiday Requirements: None
  • Call or Standby requirement: None

  • Unit: Imaging Services Elmore Hospital
  • How many scanners/rooms does this department have: 1 MRI scanner - Seimens Espree
  • Will they have to float/cover any other areas: Float between Xray and CT, more common night, typically will not float
  • Is there a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift: Manager Michelle Chandler
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided: Scrubs, no particular color, OR scrubs available
  • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation: Any color scrubs, OR scrubs available
    Additional Details
  • 1 week with preceptor to get through skills checklist
  • May be asked to work independently at times
