I work in a collaborative environment with one full-time pathologist and histotechnologists, managing a rotating call schedule. My role includes grossing specimens and performing frozen section procedures, ensuring comprehensive clinical support and timely patient care.

Grossing own specimens
Cut own frozen sections on Cryostat
Procedures: hematology, microbiology, chemistry/serology, blood bank
Anatomic Pathology Procedures: Surgical, GI pathology, GU pathology, Neuropathology, Dermatopathology, Hematopathology, Cytology
Clinical support:
1 full time pathologist in addition to locum
Current pathologist works in tandem with locum
Histotechnologists
Required experience, training, and certifications:
Experience preferred
AP/CP certified pathologist
