Our client in Kalamazoo County, MI is in need of a Family Medicine Physician for a full-time assignment!

Job details:

• Start - ASAP
• 10-hour days - 8:00 am-6:00 pm or 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
• Must be willing and able to perform common office-based, outpatient surgical procedures (i.e. ambulatory surgery, stitches/staples, superficial burn treatment, biopsies, etc.)
• Outpatient and clinic setting
• Averages 18 patients per day on the high end
• Provides a total assessment of the patient's health status, including systematic health history, a physical examination, and diagnostic testing.
• Assesses patient/family learning needs and provides appropriate patient education.
• Determines and prescribes medication, dosage, and schedule, given the patient's condition and allergies.
• EMR: EPIC

Job Requirements:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine - REQUIRED
• MI licensing (in hand or in process) - REQUIRED
• DEA (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
• CSR/CDS (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
