Director, Ambulatory Services at Deborah Heart and Lung Center summary:

The Director of Ambulatory Services is responsible for overseeing clinical and business outpatient operations at Deborah Heart and Lung Center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to enhance patient experiences while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. The director must possess strong leadership skills and relevant experience in healthcare management, particularly in ambulatory services.

Position Summary:  Reporting directly to the VP Cardiology Services the Director of Ambulatory Services works closely with a variety of key stakeholders across the organization to provide care coordination activities of Ambulatory Operations and practice offices.  Responsible for the overall management of clinical and business outpatient operations within Deborah Heart and Lung Center.  Collaborate with Deborah Specialty Physician group to align patient experience.  This includes, but is not limited to:  assuring the delivery of safe and efficient clinical services of the highest quality, assuring the greatest patient experience and Team Member engagement, while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards. 

Experience

Required: Minimum 2 years experience in a healthcare leadership, manager level or above; physician practice management

Preferred: (3) years of hospital ambulatory services 

Education

Required:  BA/BS Degree in healthcare, business or related field required.

Preferred: Masters Business Administration/Masters Healthcare Administration

License and Credentials  

Required: N/A

Skills

Required: Skill in exercising a high degree of leadership, initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve both local and organization objectives.  Proficiency in WORD, EXCEL, and POWER POINT. 

Preferred: Experience with Meditech EMR

HOURS: Full-time 80 hours per pay period
