Job Description

LPN Licensed Practical Nurse at Southern Health Partners summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position at LaPlata County Jail offers a unique opportunity to provide nursing care in a secure environment. Responsibilities include delivering patient care, administering medications, and following treatment plans for a diverse and underserved population. The role comes with benefits such as flexible scheduling, premium pay for night shifts, and opportunities for continuing education.

Break out of your current routine and find your nursing freedom behind bars.  When you sought a nursing career to make a difference in the lives of your patients and their families, you may never have imagined the most diverse patient population would be found in a correctional setting.  While working in an Emergency Room you may have found security lacking at times and patient concerns may not be as emergent as the facility name would imply.  Evidence based nursing decisions making an impact for an under-served patient population in a safe secure work environment may be just the career change you are looking for.
