- Procedures offered in the practice:
- History and physical exam admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages to correct or treat various conditions, illnesses, and injuries of the extremities, spine, and associated structures by medical, surgical, and physical means
- Such conditions include, but are not limited to, trauma, infections, tumors, metabolic disturbances of the musculoskeletal system, deformities, injuries, and degenerative diseases of the spine, hands, feet, knee, hip, shoulder, and elbow, and include primary and secondary muscular problems and the effects of central or peripheral nervous system lesions of the musculoskeletal system
- Orthopedic surgeons may provide care to patients in the intensive care setting in conformance with unit policies
- May also assess, stabilize, and determine the disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with medical staff policy regarding emergency and consultative call services
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Active IA License
- Fellowship Trained (Orthopedic Surgery)
- Must be experienced
EMR
- Epic in the clinic setting
- Cerner in the inpatient setting until May 31, 2025 at which time the EMR will be Epic Enterprise
