The Hospitalist Physician at Rural Physicians Group (RPG) provides comprehensive medical care in a rural setting, emphasizing patient care and community service. This role offers a flexible schedule with dedicated support for onboarding and billing, while allowing physicians to maintain a business-like autonomy. Candidates must be board certified, possess excellent communication skills, and be proficient in various medical procedures, are provided with housing and meals, and are required to commit to a minimum of seven shifts per month.
Rural Physicians Group (RPG) is looking for a Hospitalist to provide excellent care who is passionate about medicine, cares for patients in rural communities, and wants to enjoy a flexible schedule with more autonomy at:
- Level 4 ER, 49 bed, 6 ICU bed hospital
- General, Ortho, OB, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Pulmonary, Plastics
- Sleep, Cardiac Rehab, & Urology
- 24 Hr. Anesthesia and Outpatient Cardiology on site
- High Volume Hospital with (Avg. Daily Census of 20)

- Dedicated Success Team assigned to each Hospitalist: manages the onboarding, licensing & credentialing, submission of application for payors, & more.
SCHEDULE & ACCOMMODATIONS
- Permanent monthly schedule:
- In an effort to provide continuity of care and consistency with our small rural communities and hospitals, we provide a Core Hospitalist Team to the Hospitals we serve a minimum 7-day commitment per month is required. 24/7 shifts.
- 24/7 shift blocks include: 7 day, 7 on/7 off, 10 day or more.
- Dedicated and convenient private and comfortable quarters/call-room
- On-site two bedroom home w/kitchen on site available
QUALIFICATIONS
- Active license or ability to obtain
- Ability to perform full scope of practice
- Clean malpractice and disciplinary history
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
- Proficient with intubations, central lines, and vent management
- Comfortable in a fast paced environment
