- ED physician responds to a code on med surg if one is called, which is not often.
- Do not round anywhere other than on their ED patients in ED dept.
- Will admit to hospital but via our Hospitalist.
- Do not write admission orders but they do call the Hospitalist & the Hospitalist makes the decision whether to admit.
