Gastroenterologist opening in Burlington, MA Located 17 miles from Boston Details: - Full-time, permanent- Seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist. - The GI Department is comprised of 21 physicians and 4 advanced practitioners all committed to providing compassionate, high quality, patient focused care. - Providers see approximately 35,000 outpatients per year for a wide variety of GI and liver related problems including inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, biliary tract disorders and diseases of the pancreas, colon cancer, and disorders of the esophagus. - Physicians also perform approximately 20,000 procedures annually. - Many of the Departments physicians are frequently recognized in local and national publications as among the best in their field. - The Department offers a collegial and supportive environment in which providers feel their efforts are recognized and valued. - All of these factors contribute to an extremely low turnover rate within the Department.- The GI Department also has an ACGME accredited GI Fellowship Program with staff physicians holding academic appointments at Umass Chan Medical School.
