The surgery role includes performing elective and emergent cardiothoracic surgeries, providing on-call services, and covering inpatient consults. The ideal candidate must have a Michigan license, BLS/ACLS certification, and extensive surgical case logs.
Northern Michigan (lower peninsula) hospital is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon to take call 24/7 for the last 10-11 days every month (starting the 20th of each month) from May - December. This is a hard requirement, and the site cannot be flexible.
The locum will perform elective/emergent CTCVS surgeries and will provide on-call services, covering cath lab, emergency surgeries, inpatient consults/surgeries. APP first assists and rounds on inpatients.
There isa dedicated RN to the program who facilitates scheduling. OR, radiology, and lab are all onsite. EMR is Cerner. Must have MI License, BLS/ACLS, Board Certification, and case logs.
