Position: Traveling Physician - Senior Living Communities

Organization: A provider-led primary and post-acute care organization focused on senior living communities and residents.

Must have licenses in at least 5 of the following states: CA, NV, OR, ID, AZ, NM, CO, TX, OK, KS, MN, IA, MO, AR, LA, MS, AL, GA, FL, TN, KY, IL, WI, IN, MI, OH, WV, SC, NC, VA, PA, NY, MA

Salary: $300,000 +

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical care in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, independent living, and memory care facilities.
  • Travel to multiple facilities for medical coverage and oversight.
  • Serve as interim Medical Director.
  • Build relationships with facility staff and administrators.
  • Engage with multidisciplinary teams to address patient care needs.
  • Complete documentation and billing for services.
  • Respond to daytime calls from facilities.
  • Manage new patient admissions.
  • Assist with the transition to permanent providers.
  • Represent the organization professionally.

Qualifications:

  • MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine.
  • Licensure in multiple states.

  • Proficiency with EMR.
